- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 3 cups sliced peeled peaches (fresh or frozen)

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Vanilla ice cream, optional
